"Most Comfortable Beds in California"
We stayed at the Diva for a couple nights, and while it's right in the heart of Union Square, we had trouble getting out of bed in the mornings! Seriously, they're that comfortable...The decor is ultra-modern and industrial, with really interesting design elements throughout. Our room was large with a sofa and chairs, and we were pleasantly surprised with a nice bottle of Californian Red when we walked in.
As for location, you're right in the action... shops, restaurants, bars and the theater. You've even got the trolley only a few blocks away. Forget the big chains... Stay at the Diva and enjoy San Francisco like it's meant to be enjoyed! We'll be back!
"My Favorite Hotel!"
We recently took a long road trip from Canada down to the Coachella music festival and drove back up the coast. It was a two week road trip and we stayed at Diva in the last portion of the trip.
We stayed in some extremely nice hotels on the trip including the Wynn in Las Vegas and this was better. The staff at the hotel was amazing, it was nice after driving for 6 hours and navigating San Francisco streets to have the amazing desk staff check us in. We got to the room and it was fantastic.
The hotel group is called Personality Hotels and this hotel has a lot of personality. The room was amazing with a bunch of cool art and some helpful and fun travel magazines. The couch and chair were amazingly comfortable and the bathroom was really nice. The view was pretty good too, looking out at a part of downtown.
The bed itself deserves its own paragraph. It was the most comfortable bed I think I've ever slept in. Considering my last stay in San Francisco was the worst bed I've ever slept in, this was amazing!
The area had a lot of amazing food choices all within a short walking distance and you could really walk to most of the main attractions.
If you're planning a trip to San Francisco stay here! You can also follow them on twitter to find out cool places in San Francisco (@personalityhtls). That's how I found them!
"San Francisco At It's Best!"
The Diva is cool. I really like the décor in the lounges. The color palette in the rooms reminded me of some of my favorite places we've stayed in New York like the Gansevoort and the Royalton. We slept well in the comfy bed with plenty of pillows, thank you very much! I loved that the extra pillows were fluffy nice ones!
I think it's a wonderful touch that you give away a Starbucks card instead of having in room coffee. It's just perfect since Starbucks is right there and guests don't have to try to figure out how to use the in room coffee maker.
Again, I really felt special with all you did for us. Thanks!
"A Wonderful Family Get-Away"
The rooms were fantastic! The first night we had our 3 kids with us. Christian at the front desk suggested an upgrade to the Family Suite, ONLY $40 extra.... we sure were ecstatic about this room! The kids had their very own private room equipped with everything a child would want! Toys, DVD's, costumes, drawing space and bunk beds. The adult room was chic and oh so lovely.
The service was helpful and informative. We were always greeted with a sincere hello and a smile. The beds were the most comfortable, I seriously could've spent the entire weekend in bed but there was so much to see and do in SF. Two thumbs and big toes way up! Hotel Diva is our new fave all time hotel in SF!
"The Perfect Choice!"
The boyfriend chose this place and kudos to him because I really liked it (obviously for reasons that are all based on the design and the minimalism.) Hotel Diva is located in the Union Square area just steps away from all the shopping! Tons of galleries and restaurants, cafe and bars are also near by.
We checked in to an old hotel that has been remodeled with a cleaner more minimal approach. It's simple. Nothing over the top but it is still nicely done. I loved the "Diva" window pull shades and the "Harry Bertoia" like Diamond Lounge chairs in here. And the king size bed!!! YEAH!! It was so comfortable that I didn't want to get out the following day. The plush pillows and extra blankets were also a nice addition without having to ring down for some. The shower heads are also rad! This place is just so rad. ALSO....... The service here is awesome. Our second night here we had the bell boy notice that we were getting ready to grab a cab.. He jumped out in the street for us and waved a cab for us and another couple as well... Perfect service!!
